Database for confirmation of compliance with requirements on residential appliances fired by solid fuels

The harmonized European standards for solid fuel burning appliances together with national emission requirements are an important contribution both to product safety and to health, environmental and consumer protection.They define the technical requirements and emission requirements for solid fuel burning appliances.

When entering the product data in the database, the HKI Industry Association checks and assesses whether the requirements of the standards are being met.
The manufacturer requests the entry ino the HKI database and submits the necessary test reports, including the installation and operating instructions as well as the declaration of performance, to the HKI.

The HKI-Quality Label

The manufacturer requests the registration in the HKI database as part of the HKI quality mark and submits the necessary test reports including installation and operating instructions as well as the annexes of the HKI-QZ basic document to the HKI.

In the course of registration in the database, the HKI Industry Association checks and assesses whether the requirements of the HKI quality mark are complied with.The basics for obtaining the HKI Quality Label can be found in detail in the basic document
